Here are all my upcoming quilting and textile workshops from now until the end of the year. Hopefully I’ve included some that will lend themselves to Christmas gifts. There are also a couple of dates for your diary along with ‘how to book’ information at the end of the email. All workshops are suitable for beginners and more experienced people except the ‘Storm at Sea’ masterclass.
Crazy Patchwork Panel £25 (interfacing included) Sewing machine required
Make a panel suitable for a wall canvas, bag front or cushion. Using up-cycled fabrics remnants, silks, left over fabric, lace and buttons, anything you can lay your hands on.
Wednesday 16th November.
Textile Landscape £30 (all materials included) Sewing machine required
Create a beautiful landscape canvas. I’ll showing you how to make an imagined landscape or adapting a photograph of your choice (not too complicated please). Using a range of fabrics to build up texture (see attached photo).
Wednesday 30th November.
Make a Bag £25 (bring your own fabric) Sewing machine required
Using my original design to make a gorgeous enough for a day out but large enough to do a bit of shopping bag. A great way of using upholstery fabric or something really pretty from your stash, the finished look is up to you.
Saturday 9th November.
Jelly Roll Quilt Part 1 and Part 2 £50 for both days (bring your own fabric) Sewing machine required.
Piece together a quilt top using two blocks that make a trellis design. Part 2 adds a special border to finish off the pattern. Large enough to make a double bed topper or a full size single quilt.

Ribbon Weaving workshop £40 (includes £15 ribbon pack and bondaweb)
Learn a new weaving technique using a cake board! You can use the completed panel as a bag front or cushion.
Wednesday 12th October, Saturday 12th November
Storm at Sea master class Part 1 and Part 2 £50 for both days (bring your own fabric) Sewing machine required
I’ve broken down this beautiful but complex pattern into a much easier method that you can make just by measuring and marking rather than over paper. By the end of the two workshops you will have a small lap quilt top or wall hanging. If you love optical illusions, this one is for you.

This would make a perfect Christmas present. Using beautiful bits and pieces of silk and velvet and embellished with fire polished beads you can make a stunning statement necklace.
Wednesday 23rd November, Saturday 10th December
Student show and tell Christmas Party – Save the date Friday 16th December. All my students, past and present are invited to join me for drinks and nibbles (maybe even mince pies) and a chance to see each others work. 6.30 pm until 8.30 pm, bring your work.
